Our first interest in culinary started from a series of workshops we conducted across Kolkata and Howrah way back. It was then that we got introduced to Ms. Rukma Dakshy, who very soon became our own dear Rukmadi. She was a panelist at those workshops. It was monsoon in full swing, and we will never forget the fun we had conducting those workshops across the rain-drenched cities. ‘Doodh Pabda’ was a dish she introduced. We place this phenomenally beautiful and rare dish in front of you all today. In conclusion, it must be mentioned, ‘Rukma’ means ‘Lakshmi’- the Goddess of Plentifulness.
