Forgiveness, Jane Eyre

This is "Forgiveness" from Jane Eyre the musical, music by Paul Cordon. If you haven't seen this musical - well, neither have I. But the music is absolutely beautiful and this is one of my very favorite books on the face of the planet.

I have been thinking of this song for a few weeks now and have finally got around to recording it (obviously). In regards to the message, forgiveness is a very hard thing, but it is one of the most powerful things that we can do, and one of the greatest gifts that God has given us. 🎶Forgiveness of all their crimes is your deliverance now🎶 - forgiveness is a gift of healing, a chance to let go, and is a promise that everyone has the chance and ability to repent and change even if we never personally see it.

Mark 11:25 "And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses."

Ephesians 4:32 "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you."

I would also jusy like to add that it is also important to forgive ourselves. It might be even harder than forgiving someone else sometimes, but it's no less important.

Doctrine & Covenants 58:42 "Behold, he who has repented of his sins, the same is forgiven, and I, the Lord, remember them no more."

We might still have to remember, but only to help us continue to be better. Don't let the things of the past cling on to you. I know, easier said than done, but no less important. You Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, love you, and want you to do your best. They would also like you to be a little kinder to yourself, please.
