1966-67 Television Season 50th Anniversary: Tarzan (Ron Ely 10/27/92 interview on Vicki!)

The 1966-67 Television Season produced many new and fine series making their broadcast debut, and one of those series was Tarzan. A remake (natch) of the famous cartoon and movie character, the transition to television was successful, with actor Ron Ely taking on the lead title role.

The series debuted on NBC on Friday, September 8, 1966 and ran for two seasons; its final episode airing on March 29, 1968.
