Today, let’s look at the recipe for putu mayam
..
Ingredients
- Rice 1 kg (.Raw rice)
- 2 liters of water
- Salt 1 spoon

-Firstly prepare the raw rice ,rinse and soak it for about 30-60 minutes .
-strain the soaked rice and dry it under hot sun/ indoor.
-let it to dry for some time but make sure to be damp not wet.
-Blend it gradually and sieve it afterwards.
-place the blended rice ( flour) on a piece of cloth and tie it before steaming for 20 minutes.
-after 20 minutes,remove the flour from the pot.
- add some salt into boiled water and cool the water for 5-10 minutes.
- then add the water gradually into the flour to make dough, if possible use hand to mix the dough when it has been cooled .
-apply some oil on a tray,take the putu mayam mould and apply some oil into before putting the dough n squeezing .
-after enough squeezing into shape, let’s steam it for 5 -7 minutes .
- after that check by touching the putu mayam and it shouldn’t be sticky..
-our putu mayam is ready .
