Where other lessons in this series I have posted were about the mechanics of playing or getting used to the fretless bass, this is a bit more abstract ans is dedicated to one of my favorite things about the instrument, the 'mwah' effect.

The bass in this video has a mahogany body, mapleneck and cocobolo fingerboard. The pickup is a single passive Nordstrand MM5.2, hardwired in parallel. The strings are more than 3 years old.

The amp used here, a MarkBass Cube, is not mine.
