TOOLS/NOTIONS:

– Circular needle with interchangeable tips in sizes US-7 | 4.5mm and US-5 | 3.75mm and a 22 – 24in|58.88 – 60.96cm cable. Alternatively, you may use non-interchangeable circular needles in the required sizes.

– Crochet Hook: Size #9 | 1.15mm.
– Tape measure
– 1 locking stitch marker
– Tapestry needle
– Scissors
– Blocking materials

OPTIONAL:

– Ruler for measuring the hat while working, which can be more accurate because it does not stretch like a tape measure.

– Additional stitch marker(s) to keep track of st groups when working increases and beadwork.

– Beading board.

– Washable product (e.g., Fray BlockTM) to secure knots and clipped yarn tails and help prevent them from fraying while leaving the fabric soft.
