Finding the BEST bouldering on the South Wales Coast 🔥

Описание к видео Finding the BEST bouldering on the South Wales Coast 🔥

On the last leg of our trip to explore South Wales best 7th grade boulders, we stopped in at Ogmore as well as a quick stop to Limeslade crag

Ogmore has gained notoriety in recent years due to the rapid development of the bouldering scene led by local guidebook author Eliot Stephens and I can 100% recommend that it is worth a visit (also there is a @theclimbinghangaruk nearby in Swansea if it is damp or you just want to hangout!)

'Flying Fish' 7B/V8 opens this episode with steep powerful climbs through a limestone overhang which is a really fun power problem but this was just a warm up to 'Hydro', a recent 8B established by Eliot and I was happy to climb it second go and claim the first female ascent!

Following on from Hydro, 'Scoop Dragon Sit-Start' 7A+/V7 has a very big claim to be in the top 5 best 7's in the country. I cannot stress how good this boulder problem is and it should be on everyone's ticklist if you are climbing at the grade!

Finally, we swung by Limeslade crag for our final piece of coastal bouldering action with the excellent 'Taste the Rainbow' 7B/V8. For indoor wall climbers, this is definitely a problem for you with sea-worn juggy holds through steep terrain, this one is a real hidden gem that is definitely worth seeking out!

Next week, we head to North Wales but what did I miss and need to check out next time I am visiting South Wales?
