Kölsch Recipe with a grain to glass video and tasting notes. This was brewed on the Brewzilla Gen4 35L 110V, in my opinion, the best home brewing system out there on the market today for the price! RECIPE
WATER:
-6.35 Gallons RO Water - 50ppm Calcium / 60ppm Chloride / 60ppm Sulfate / 6ppm Magnesium
-3 Grams Calcium Chloride
-1.5 Grams Gypsum
-1.5 Grams Epsum
-3mL Lactic Acid into mash
GRAIN:
- 7lbs Weyermann Pilsner (90%)
- 8oz Red Wheat (6.5%)
- 4oz Acidulated (3.5%)
HOPS:
- 1oz Hallertau Mittelfruh @ First Wort (14 IBU)
- 1oz Hallertau Mittelfruh @ Boil, 15 minutes left (6 IBU)
YEAST:
- Omega Yeast Kolsch II

FERMENTATION:
Pitch and ferment at 60F for 2 weeks
Cold crash to 32F and condition in keg for at least 2 weeks before serving to help clarify
