Описание к видео A Short Documentary About the Wild Goose Festival | Wild Goose Festival 2020

The inaugural Wild Goose Festival took place in October in Dumfries, featuring 7-days of storytelling, literature, riverside walks, creative activities and opportunities to see the geese as they flew over the town. The festival used the migratory route of the Barnacle Geese between Svalbard and the Solway Estuary to join people, nature and ideas.

Produced by The Stove Network, Wild Goose Festival united key partners in a family-friendly exploration of nature, creativity and place – WWT Caerlaverock Wetland Centre, NatureScot (SNH), Moat Brae Centre for Children’s Literature and Storytelling, University of Glasgow, Creative Futures, PAMIS (Promoting a More Inclusive Society) and the Scottish International Storytelling Festival.

Filmed & Edited by John Wallace of Pile-On Productions.
