Winchester 94 - Mounting a Malcolm Scope the Easy Way (No-Machining Kit)

Описание к видео Winchester 94 - Mounting a Malcolm Scope the Easy Way (No-Machining Kit)

If you've got a Winchester 92 or 94, I'd first like to say that it's a lovely rifle.
In light of that - if you're looking to mount a scope, you might not want to drill and tap the barrel or the receiver to fit some blocks. If this is the case, we've got the easy solution for you.

Our Winchester 92/94 mounts fit into a few mounting points that your Winchester probably already has from the factory (but please double check) -
1. Two threaded holes near the rear of the ejector, outside the receiver on the left side;
2. A dovetail (3/8") a few inches forward of the breech
The mounting kit will offset the scope a bit to the left, keeping it out of the way of the ejecting cases.

To install the kit, the steps are pretty straightforward -
1. Remove the two plug screws in the receiver
2. Remove the currently installed sight (if the dovetail isn't open)
3. Install the rear mounting bracket
4. Install the forward (dovetail) mounting bracket
5. Install the scope

That's really all there is to it! We've designed the kits to fit right into the common factory standards for these rifles.

To follow along at the different stages, the video is divided into three sections:
