Bloody Roar 2 [PS1] - play as Gado

Gado is the boss of Arcade mode in the game. He is an unlockable playable character.

===== About Gado =====
He's basically a retired tough-military-guy-with-face-scar design, fighting for the ZLF (Zoanthrope Liberation Front). In BR2, his default costume and colour sure reminds me of Rugal Bernstein from KOF. Not only that, but he has also lost his sight in one eye too...

Gameplay-wise, Gado is a good character... his best ability is that he inflicts high energy depletion in general. His movement speed is not that great however, and he does struggle a little bit against the smaller characters like Uriko and Bakuryu.

===== About Bloody Roar 2 =====
The Bloody Roar series brings something unique to the world of fighting games, and that is of course the fact that the characters can all transform into animal/beast versions of themselves.

The general gameplay is solid, it plays in a quite unique manner all to itself. It is nothing like SF, Tekken, DOA or VF... instead it is a basic "conservative" 3D fighter with a balance of moves, juggle abilities, special moves and string combos. The whole thing is very well rounded-off.

In BR2, the gameplay is less conservative than the prequel, offering more combo possibilities and extreme super moves known as the Beast Drives. The general energy depletion output also seems to be higher as well, however the "recovery life" portions of the lifebar (the parts you can recover when you are a Beast) are higher too.
