BATTLEFIELD 2042: Main Battle Tank (MBT) Fun, Gameplay and Tier One Celebration

As we return for Battlefield 2042 (bf2042) Season 6 I wanted to spend a little time with the franchise's most iconic vehicle -- the Main Battle Tank (MBT). I've finally managed to get both up to Tier 1 so let's have a little fun.

Since the introduction of the TOR Railgun tank, the MBT has been on something of a back foot as it's easy prey for a crew that gets the drop on you. The upside to that is every win against them feels amazing & genuinely like you achieved something. Another great bit of fun is to shoot down enemy aircraft. It takes good timing and patience to pull it off, especially hitting those Nightbirds and Attack Helicopters. Tank vs Tank battles are always unpredictable and finally hunting down Wildcats is a good time though not nearly as important as it used to be given the buffed Attack Choppers now in game.

Season 6 is here, have to say not feeling the new map at all but another subject for another day. Fingers crossed the QoL improvements work out and that more content will be on the way!
