Stockholm 1913: Söndagsliv i Vasastan - Remastered 4K 60fps

Its Sunday and the Circus is in town! Lots of children are out enjoying the nice weather. At Odenplan commuters are suprised to see the strange device that the cameraman is operating. Trams are coming and going, cars are passing by and a hearse leaving Norra kyrkogården can be seen in the distance.
People are gathering outside the movie theatre "Pariser-Teatern" at Roslagsgatan 18. Your typical spring Sunday in 1913.

This is part one of six film series shot in Stockholm 1913.
Unfortunately alot of compression artifacts in the source material.

The footage has been remastered to 4K 60 frames per second using various AI and software. Sound has been carefully added manually for ambiance and finally the images has been colorized using AI to present this time travel experience.
This is an artistic interpretation of the original footage and is by no means intended to replace the original film and its historical value. The color and sound is NOT historically accurate and it is added for ambiance.
