The Sony A5100 has possibly the best touch-to-refocus smooth automated focus pull implementation because of the 179 phase detect AF points. This demo shows how this Spot Focus system works: it's actually a combination of AF + MF: When the user touches the screen the AF moves smoothly the focus onto that point while the Spot Focus text is blinking, then the focus plain remains unchanged until the next touch, simply brilliant. This excellent system works with Sony video cameras too: AX100, X70.
