PNW Powder Splitboarding

Описание к видео PNW Powder Splitboarding

Well the PNW is finally getting a bunch of fresh snow and it's beginning to look like winter. There has been well over 4 feet of snow at many of the local ski areas within a week. This adventure is from Stevens Pass in between storms.
We left Seattle at 5:30 to beat traffic. We're not waiting on chairlifts anyway. The zone is very familiar to us but we wanted to go a little deeper and reach a new summit. Usually when we come here we just hot lap and session stuff but our goals. were bigger.
The snow was deep and blower but the creeks still needed a little more snow. Our first run was a fun chute like feature then we rode through the trees until reaching Nason creek.
Tye Peak was slightly windy and only had a few tracks on it. After transitioning from ski mode to snowboard mode we were ready to shred. The sun decided to pop on our run which made the visibility great. we rode in pairs and set waiting points. Everything felt safe and stable on the open slopes and we partied through the trees as a group. After arriving at Nason creek again we headed back towards skyline ridge.
This is were we get to do some downhill skiing on our splitboards. It's easier for some of us than others lol. The last ride down to the truckis full of switch back cuts, road hits, tree runs, pow, so just about a little of everything.
All in all another great day and I hope everyone is shredding hard. SUBSCRIBE to catch the next one, cheers.
