This Dakota Red '56 Strat absolutely screams! It has three hand-wound Texas Specials, and they deliver tone that would make SRV proud! This guitar has a woody, articulate attack that gives way to a warm, midrange-forward voice. The bridge pickup has some nice honk and squawk in the mids along with some thumpy low-end and sizzling trebles. The middle pickup has balanced, full response across the board with a slight bump in the mids. The neck pickup has robust lows, broad midrange, and smooth, glassy highs. Anyone looking for a punchy, warm Strat with plenty of Texas heat will love this Dakota Red dreamboat!
