Fundy Footpath, New Brunswick (Day 1) | Come Hike With Me

In June 2022 I solo hiked the Fundy Footpath backpacking trail. I recorded a bunch of the journey and will be posting in batches as I'm able to cut the footage into digestible segments, here is the summary of Day 1 which ended us being a harder hike than it should have been due to some bad luck and bad planning (award winning combo). Since I had a Parks Canada pass already, there was no fee to leave my vehicle at the national park so I used Wolf Pointe as my start point, due to a late start ending my day at the Goose River park boundary.

Some background on the Fundy Footpath is that it is an ~65km trail along the coast of the Bay of Fundy (New Brunswick side). It is a thru hike that can either be started within Fundy National Park or a private access tourist centre at Big Salmon River.
