When you think of Chiayi, you think of turkey rice. Turkey rice is traditionally made by putting turkey meat on white rice and drizzling chicken or pork fat on top. Chiayi’s turkey rice is renowned across the island. With its rising popularity, other cities started selling turkey rice and calling it “Chiayi turkey rice”. We were wondering what do the people of Chiayi think of turkey rice culture? Is Chiayi turkey rice really that good?
