PART THREE - Experiencing Havana, Cuba

Whilst exploring the streets of Havana illegally (as an American - every other country was allowed) the Cubans loved us and welcomed us there. The once beautiful Havana architecture had been slowly deteriorating over decades of sun and wind and rain after the American emcargo, so there were no Cokes, no McDonalds, and no new cars from Ford anymore. I spent the first few days in Havana walking the streets for miles in different directions, avoiding hawkers as best I could, but I settled one evening with a pretty girl a few hours for 30 pesos. And got laid. Also took a double-decker tour bus around Havana, and also went out on the outskirts of the city to Marina Hemingway (named after Ernest) and the mosaic tile neighborhood around the house of Fuster.
