Vourvourou is a small beach wedged between the villages of Ormos Panagia and Sarti, on the eastern side of the Sithonia peninsula in Halkidiki, Greece.
The area around Vourvourou is remarkable, featuring tiny rock islands, sea caves, and coniferous forests.
The beach itself is sandy, ideal for families with shallow waters and good facilities.
Visitors can enjoy water sports and rent surfboards, water bikes, and sailboats. Additionally, boat rides to Diaporos, the largest of the nine islands across the bay of Vourvourou, are popular.
Close to Vourvourou, there’s a fishing village where fresh fish can be savored at small taverns.
