I paint the beautiful village of Guadalest in Spain. This is a very famous spot with white buildings sitting right on the edge of high rocks.

The big challenge in this painting is the perspective. Because we are looking down from a high place, the buildings seem to rise up and lean at the same time. This is called three point perspective. It can be a bit tricky to get the lines right so the buildings look tall but stable. I will show you how I use my pencil to find those leaning lines before I start with the paint.
