Mackerels / Bangdas - 3 pieces / Around 450 gms ( before cleaning )
Salt - ½ tsp
Tamarind - 1 inch ball
Warm Water - ½ cup / 125 ml
Freshly grated Coconut - 1 cup
Kashmiri Red Chillies - 6
Bedgi Red Chillies ( medium spicy ) - 2
Turmeric / Haldi powder - ½ tsp
Cumin / Jeera seeds - ½ tsp
Coriander seeds - 1 tbsp
Onion - 1 medium size
Garlic - 6 cloves medium size
Ginger - ½ inch piece

Kokum / Garcinia Indica - Around 4 to 6
Tefla / Teppal - Around 5 to 6 ( optional )
Ginger - ½ inch piece
Green Chillies - 2
Salt - 1 tsp
Water - 3 cups / 750 ml
