small original composition 6: Secret Base

This week the theme of the Music Weeklies challenge is Secret Base. Of course you need a very special secret agent to find this secret base. Fall into the base, find the path and secretly wonder around until.... suddenly you have to run, will you make it out?

Time for something more spectacular this week! We had a sort of holiday (Sinterklaas), so Big Band rehearsal got cancelled and finally some time to develop a composition into more details. Luckely for me this evening free went together with one of my favorite opportunities with this weeks theme.

Of course inspired by the Incredibond music (you know what I mean). I tried to play the solo live (on flugelhorn) but I couldn't get the sounds to match so maybe another challenge. Again so much more that could be done but I learned a bunch and tried something completely new for me with the free structure at the beginning.
