Hector the Hero. Written by James Scott Skinner in 1903 in memory of his friend Major General Hector Archibald MacDonald.

This tune is usually played on the violin. Skinner is a local to my area and I hope I give some justice with a piano accordion version.
I've often played it alongside many good fiddle players at sessions. I feel I've learned a lot playing with fiddle players in sessions over the years as there are so many great players in the Aberdeen area.
