Mesh WIFI on the Farm - UPDATE and FAQ! With Starlink and back up internet service!

In March of 2021 we did a video about how we use home-grade mesh wifi on our farm to cover all corners of our homestead. We have had dozens of questions and suggestions and have made numerous upgrades and enhancements since then. This video is an update, answering some of the questions we’ve had and outlining how we incorporate CAT6 wiring with the mesh wifi, as well as how we do failover between Starlink and our local line-of-sight (LOS) wireless ISP.

This video is a very high-level overview of how we installed wifi on our farm for a minimal investment.

Gooseberry Bridge Farm is located in the Ozark Mountains of Southwest Missouri. We moved from the typical “house at the end of a cul-de-sac in a subdivision” in 2016 to our little 11.6 acre farm and haven’t looked back!
