Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 update as of July 2018

This is my update #53A for the Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3
Every month, Skyway has new developments. The pace of the works are astounding! Today we document this and tonight a new component will be installed. Comparing to previous years, you could feel the project is doing it's best to catch up despite issues beyond the contractors control. So what did i saw here...

The deck slab of the entire stretch of Osmena Highway from Pier 01 to Pier 82 is now substantially complete. At the top view you could see the entire stretch paved already and probably cant wait to see the asphalt overlaying once it commences. The on-ramp after Malugay before Zobel Roxas was also paved. We could also see the on going construction of parapet walls similar to NAIA expressway. (Honestly i love the old tubular rail comparing to parapet wall hehe)
As for the At Grade portion, we could see the median is almost complete on most portions and there were provisions for lay-by. Also, RCP has been installed but i wonder if the size will be sufficient enough? As for the Quirino Avenue junction area, Pier 88 still has long way to go, hoping they can start building those pier cap over there.

Now the Section 2 is very busy. There were new girders launched along Plaza Dilao area and the Partial Closure of Concordia bridge is not helping the traffic at all... it became a major choke point for all motorists. I hope there would traffic personnel manning that particular area, we do know most people here do not know how to perform alternate merge. The works along San Juan river continues as steel casing have been installed on most areas and concrete pouring has commenced, reinforcing steel were inserted into the pile. Notice the erection of tall piers along Araneta Avenue Ext. beside SM centerpoint?

The girders along E. Rodriguez and Araneta Avenue intersection are substantially complete, and there are on going works along Araneta Avenue with a probable drainage works. The steel box girders along Quezon Avenue are now being installed and probably will be nearing to completion so the two spans are already complete by then / span P74 to 76. There is little progress in the relocation of electric poles but still it is better than having none at all.

As for section 4, installation of girders near Talayan village area continues and the on and off ramps are now visible. There are still incomplete sections after Del Monte Avenue intersection. Then some pile boring activities are still on going along Sgt Rivera. There were activities also on the private property along Sgt Rivera, so there will be structures affected by this section, connecting Sgt Rivera to A Bonifacio will be affecting i guess warehouses and buildings? Wow that will be still a long way as i dont see any demolition starting. There were also markings in the median along NLEX and near Balintawak area so there is a possibility that Skyway will be similar to Magallanes interchange surpassing the height of LRT line and EDSA wow this is one interesting design.
