Описание к видео Collecting Tahitian Chestnut (Ivi) with Kuku and the boys & Cooked and served by Aunty Lo🌰🇫🇯

In this vlog we are out in the jungle with Kuku and the other village boys. We are going out to collect Tahitian Chestnut or in Fijian the ivi as it is ivi season right now in Fiji.

Ivi is very popular to eat when it is ivi season. Most people in our village have the ivi with tea. It can be either for breakfast, lunch or dinner. It depends on the mood for the village families.

Kuku and the villages kid are taking me around to the best ivi spots and show how to collect them and shows the different types of Ivi. They cover a lot of distance as they constantly move on to a new ivi tree to find more ivi.

When we came back to the village. Some of the village kids and Aunty Lo is showing us how to cut the ivi and get the actual ivi out. Some are better than others at doing it.

Later Aunty Lo is showcasing how to cook the ivi and how the process is. In the evening we are finally ready to enjoy ivi with tea and the family gathers around to end the day.
