Chilled Chicken Rice, Anyone? | Ming Kee Chicken Rice

Описание к видео Chilled Chicken Rice, Anyone? | Ming Kee Chicken Rice

Cold meat might not sound appetising to most people, but at Ming Kee Chicken Rice, customers come back for their chicken rice with chilled chicken meat. The meat is quenched in ice water right until it's served, so that it tastes juicier and more tender. Originating from Beach Road, this stall has passed through 3 generations, with Richard and his family now keeping the legacy alive.

Considered as one of Singapore's national dishes, chicken rice can be found in most hawker centres around the island. It is originally based on Wenchang chicken, a dish that the immigrants from Hainan brought with them.
