How a paper folder works

Описание к видео How a paper folder works

This video demonstrates how paper gets folded, on a Baumfolder Folder. The unit being shown is a smaller version of a folder; cut in half so you can see how it works easier. First of all you can see the number 1, 2, and 3 and 0 roll labeled, the 0 roll is the main roll. Paper will come off a paper feeder, register, pile or continuous. It will come down until it engages the rolls. The rolls will take it in. It will come up in between the fold plate (buckle plate) until it hits the paper stop. Once it hits the paper stop it will buckle (fold) in between the bottom two rolls. It will come down into the bottom fold plate until it hits the paper stop. Then, it will actually fold the paper again. As you see the paper up at the top it is still coming down thru the register. So it has actually been folded then going down to the other fold plate, so there is multiple things happening at once in the folder. Then it will exit the folder and you will have a folded piece of paper. Then you can open it up and see the fold. We have also shown it again faster.
