BN and ATSF colors on the Milwaukee Road Mainline: Let the EMDs Roar!

In this C. Vision YouTube exclusive, we return to the former Milwaukee Road mainline in western Minnesota and eastern South Dakota in search of classic EMD power. With footage from 2015 to 2020, we view GP50s, GP60s, SD40-2s, and SD60Ms still painted in BN green and Santa Fe bluebonnet colors leading trains across BNSF's Appleton Subdivision. Willmar to Aberdeen local train L-TWI6611 makes for a great subject, as it powers across the countryside on beautiful afternoons in the spring, summer, and fall. We make it a point to document several trains climbing the one percent grade between Twin Brooks and Summit, South Dakota, and this was well worth it! Other locations include: Benson and Appleton on ex GN rails, Correll, Odessa, Big Stone City, Milbank, Marvin, Summit, Ortley, Webster, Bristol, and Groton.
