Manoj Dwivedi belongs to the Indian Administrative Service. Presently he is serving as an Additional Secretary to the Government of India (GoI).

Mr Dwivedi has experience working in the fields of Health, Education, Information Technology, Renewable Energy, Environment, Industries & Commerce. He has served as District Magistrate in Jammu, Ladakh and Kashmir divisions of J&K. He has pioneered many initiatives in J&K like lighting a million lives through solar home lighting systems for remote areas. Participative Rural planning at village levels in Ladakh, neonatal care centers for every district, geospatial planning for schools and hospitals, etc.

He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He has also been to the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and the University of Cambridge, UK to accomplish studies in public policy. Mr Dwivedi received the PM Award for e-Governance in 2012 and the State Award for Outstanding Integrity and Public Service in 2021. Mr Dwivedi has authored various articles in leading journals and publications.
