八歲的小桐在台灣出生,母親卻是來自蒙古的「過埠新娘」。她在冬天隨母回鄉探親,在千里外第一次見到了愷愷白雪,也見到了疼錫她的外公外婆,這趟旅程讓小桐了解到母親的鄉愁和思念父母之情。

Eight year-old Tongtong was born in Taiwan to a mother who was an “overseas bride” from Mongolia. After a visit with her mother to their hometown, she got to know what snow looked like for the first time. She also met her grandparents, who adored her. The trip enabled Tongtong to understand her mother’s nostalgia for her hometown and what family ties mean.
