Triumph TR7 Brakes & Clutch: Is stopping even important?

Now that my 1976 Triumph TR7 is in the garage, it's time to focus on the important stuff: brakes, clutch, and carburetors. As I fumble around like an idiot, I discover that this part of the project is going to be much more expensive than I planned.
