Brake & Clutch Cylinders - Triumph TR7 Restoration Part 22

Описание к видео Brake & Clutch Cylinders - Triumph TR7 Restoration Part 22

Now that I've got the pedals in place, it's time to get them attached to something.
I had the old brake and clutch master cylinders in the same state I pulled them off the car; ie rusty, dirty and in need of a rebuild.
I started with the clutch cylinder, which proved to be solidly seized up. But with patience, a little ingenuity and a lot of grease, I was able to pull it apart. From there it was simple enough to clean up and get it ready for reassembly.
However, a broken spring meant I wasn't able to get that finished up.
So I then turned to the brake cylinder - I'd managed to pick up a cheap Sherpa van cylinder and booster a few years ago, so fitting that just meant swapping the brake fluid reservoir over and making up a spacer.
Then I fitted the brake cylinder and attempted to make up the last couple of brake pipes, but a broken die meant I couldn't complete that job either!

A full list of parts I've used so far can be found here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
