Government has committed to upgrading roads in the Kigezi District of Kanungu in Western Uganda to reduce the rampant road accidents.

This follows an outcry from the Boda boda association of Kanungu town council, who attribute the road accidents to non-upgraded roads.

This was during the annual General meeting of Kanungu Town council Boda boda association, where Minister for ICT and National Guidance, Dr. Chris Baryomunsi, as Guest of Honor, pledged action to upgrade undeveloped roads.
