As we close out the month of June, which is Pride month, meet Deputy K. Duncan. She joined the HCSO as a detention officer in 2013 and became a deputy in 2015. Deputy Duncan is assigned to the Copperfield community in northwest Harris County.
“The sheriffs office has done a pretty good job about making their employees reflect the community and there’s a lot of acceptance there,” Deputy Duncan said.
