This video is about the host cities / nations / countries and the top countries / nations / teams as per the medals table / medals tally in each edition of Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.

With the latest edition of Southeast Asian Games “Southeast Asian Games 2021 Hanoi, Vietnam” is being successfully held in 2022, let’s have a look at the cities that have hosted the competition before and the cities to be hosted the competition in future along with the top performed teams / nations in each edition of the competition as per the medal table / tally of respective competition. In early days from 1959 – 1975 it was called Southeast Asian Peninsular Games. The name changed from 1975 afterwards. The competition is held once in each two years. Thailand and Malaysia have hosted the events most of the times, 6 times each. All the time medal table is lead by Thailand, followed by Indonesia & Malaysia in second and third places, Vietnam is the overall fourth & Philippines are the fifth.

Future SEA Gams will be held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia (2023), Bangkok, Chonburi, and Songkhla, Thailand (2025), Malaysia (2027) & Singapore (2029).
