Sreemangal is Bangladesh’s tea capital. There are more than 163 tea plantations, making the city the largest plantation in Bangladesh. It is the center of both wholesale and retail tea products. The seven-layer tea is so famous and special that it attracts many tourists all over the world. Sreemangal is also a popular destination for Bangladeshi to relax and get in touch with nature as it has the beautiful Lawachara National Park with high biodiversity. Just visit the hill Khasi village located among the forest in the Lawachara National Park. Transportation is quite convenient as there is a railway line running through the park and Sreemangal city.
