Hey folks. Another re-upload today. First of all, I am so sorry! I didn't post last week (which had a few people worried!), and this week's audio isn't a new one. I promise I will be back on track very soon.
I have exams at the moment and I'm sure you can imagine that I've been pretty occupied with those. As a matter of fact, I'm so dysfunctional that I made a pretty funny mistake last week.
I was supposed to have an in-person exam at a centre which was pretty far away from my place, at 10am.
Before the exam, I studied 13 hours straight and it was around 5am at the day of the exam where I decided I would take a small nap to rest. I had put 8 alarms to wake me up at 8am so I could shower and freshen up. But guess what. I slept right through all the alarms! I woke up at 9:22AM. Bear in mind the exam was at 10AM, and it takes around 40 minutes to get to the exam centre.
So I rushed off without breakfast, showering or even brushing. There was no time to change clothes, so I left in my PJs and grabbed some notes to look over on my way there. I managed to get there in time, but the gates were closed!
I started banging on it and yelling for them to let me in because I came on time. No one answered so I asked around for help, but no one was able to help me get in. I thought I was going to fail for sure. All that effort seemed like it was going to go down the drain.
I decided to check my timetable to see if I was at the right place, and I was. But there was one small thing I misread.
The exam was not today. It was tomorrow! I had come to the exam a day early and, like a maniac, was causing a scene lmao. There wasn't any exam that day, and the room I had been slamming on the door of was empty.
I haven't been functioning correct recently, as you can now imagine from this story of mine lmao. This kinda stuff usually happens in movies, but happened to my irl somehow.
I went back home after and fell asleep for a couple hours, then did another all-nighter for the actual exam. This time, I made it on time and my alarms worked.
After the exam was over, I slept a whopping 15 hours straight! I only have a couple more assessments but one of them has already been released, so sadly there isn't any break for me to time take off and record an audio for y'all.
So that's my excuse to ya.
