Les 24 et 25 août, le tournoi national de rugby à sept féminin pour les moins de 17 ans s’est déroulé en grande pompe au Stade Makis. Huit équipes ont participé : cinq de Tana et trois des régions de Tamatave, Ambositra et Tuléar. Après des matchs intenses, Tuléar a triomphé, prouvant ainsi sa force sur le terrain.

Ce tournoi fait partie d’un projet de développement du rugby visant les Jeux Olympiques de Brisbane en 2032, et constitue une étape importante pour l’avenir des jeunes joueuses. Deux représentants de la Fédération Japonaise de Rugby étaient également présents, et des uniformes ainsi que d’autres prix ont été remis à l’équipe gagnante.

Nous espérons que parmi les participantes de ce tournoi, émergeront les futures Ladies Makis. Ce tournoi constitue sans aucun doute un pas important dans leur progression vers l’excellence.

On August 24th and 25th, the national rugby sevens tournament for girls under 17 was held in grand style at Stade Makis. A total of eight teams participated: five from Tana and three from the regions of Tamatave, Ambositra, and Tulear. After intense matches, Tulear emerged victorious, proving their strength on the field.

This tournament is part of a rugby development project aimed at the 2032 Brisbane Olympics and represents an important step for the future of the young players. Two representatives from the Japan Rugby Football Union also attended, and uniforms along with other prizes were awarded to the winning team.

We hope that future Ladies Makis will emerge from among the participants in this tournament. This event undoubtedly marks a significant step in their journey toward excellence.
