Vaders krijgen kleding via het Palestina Fonds - Dads receive clothes through the Palestine Fund

EN below - Is het je ook opgevallen dat het net is alsof Palestijnse mannen er niet toe doen? Dat is niet alleen wanneer er gesproken wordt over de doden, gewonden of gegijzelden, maar ook in de hulp die gegeven wordt door organisaties. Toen we ons dat realiseerden besloten we daar iets aan te doen. Daarom deelden we voor Eid al Adha kleding uit aan 250 vaders die ontheemd zijn in het noorden. Die alles om zich heen zien verdwijnen, om hen een hart onder de riem te steken, zodat zij zich gesterkt voelen om door te gaan. Wat in het belang is van hun hele gezin, of wie daar nog van over zijn.

Het is vandaag toevalligerwijs ook nog eens vaderdag, niet dat dat een ding is in Palestina, maar wel heel mooi dat we juist even stil mogen staan bij de vaders daar.

Ontzettend bedankt aan jullie die meehelpen, en in het bijzonder aan ons geweldige team in Gaza, we zijn zo trots op jullie.

When we realized that, we decided to do something about it. That’s why we distributed clothes for Eid al Adha to 250 fathers displaced in the north. Who see everything around them disappear. Coincidentally, today is also Father’s Day, not that that is a thing in Palestine, but it is very nice that we can take a moment to remember the fathers there.
