The winter in the Zurich Highland was very hard. Broken radials and bent antenna-rods are the result. My old TAGRA BT-210 (Avanti clone) is out of order. I've a new one in my stock. The brand new but 30 years old hmp GPA 27-5/8. A cheap light weight 5/8 full size ground plane antenna, like the PENETRATOR..Lol. The matching unit is a parallel resonance coil. But the bandwith isn't large.
The brand hmp-antennas is a predator of AC Marine, RFS, CELWAVE and phelps dodge. Soundtrack "dirty talk" by Klein & M.B.O.
