Otaku Arcade Extravaganza is South Africa's largest Dance-Dance revolution
tournament ever held in the history of South African Gaming. It took place from April 27 to May 1, 2024, at Comic Con Cape Town 2024, hosted at the Cape Town
International Convention Centre 2. We were honoured to receive an invitation from Comic Con Cape Town organization to organize this grand Dance-Dance Revolution tournament, generously sponsored by Vs Telkom, City of Cape Town, Toyota, and the Comic Con team themselves.

Our South African dance gaming community received full funding for tournament preparations, transportation for our Dance-Dance Revolution equipment, including transportation for all tournament organizers, and various prizes for all medallists across all assessed divisions in the tournament.

Qualifiers through to the Semi Finals were hosted from 27 April till 30 April with the
Grand Finale being hosted on 1 May for all divisions: Beginners, Intermediate and
Advance categories. Only top 8 players in all division were selected as Grand Finalist
to compete at Comic Con's Main Stage platform on 1 May in the Grand Finale.
