RISC-V has quickly closed the gap with legacy architectures in both architectural features and performance. The Veyron V2 is Ventana’s second-generation high performance RISC-V processor designed for data centers, automotive, and HPC applications. The Veyron V2 is a wide, out-of-order processor with cutting edge branch predictors, data prefetching, and high performance vector units. An scalable, advanced memory system allows for a large, efficient cluster level cache shared among many cores. The processor connects to systems through industry standard fabric, and is available as chiplets or IP. The composable chiplets can be used to couple with differentiated IO and accelerators to create industry leading performance per watt per dollar solutions.
