Lana del Rey's music just deserves a place of its own, to me. One of the reason I love her songs so much is that they carry a somewhat "mellow" quality. I feel like I could just lie in bed for an entire afternoon hearing the rain outside and listening to Born to Die. Listening to her music again made me want to try and see if I could make her songs any more mellow than they already were so I decided to give a bathroom edit a try.

Admittedly, the task took longer than I thought it would. It was all about striking a balance between making the song not too muffled and making it sound like it came from a distant room. I used FL studio, applying a lowpass filter onto the song to get that "muffled" effect.. I then used a bit of compression. The mids and frequencies were adjusted also
