The 20th Century Cocktail | How to Drink

Описание к видео The 20th Century Cocktail | How to Drink

On this episode of How to Drink,I make the 20th Century Limited Cocktail, a drink from North By Northwest, an absolute classic film from the 50's, and my personal favorite of Alfred Hitchcock’s. Hope you enjoy, cheers!

The movie is North By Northwest, a semi-comedic spy thriller starring Cary Grant as Roger Thornhill, an ad exec stuck in the middle of a lethal case of mistaken identity. The drink is the 20th Century Limited Cocktail, and delicious and refined tipple named for the famous train connecting New York City and Chicago. In my opinion it's Hitchcock at his best, a drink far better than it ought to be, and all the rest. I think you'll enjoy! I ramble a bit long on this one before I get to the drink (could have gone MUCH longer!) so if you just want the recipe, skip to about the four and a half minute mark, but I hope you'll stick around.
