My dog was fairly healthy comparing to many other dogs in general. He has been walking with me all his life when he was 10 years old in 2020 he could even walk 4-5 miles no problems. Even when he was 14 he could walk at least a mile per day! The problem was his diet, he loved real meat and we feed him chicken meat a lot. Esp my family love to feed him lots of human food because he loved. At the end he died of DKA, he became overweighted and diabetic, plus probably some other complications like pancreatitis and liver issues. If I have another dog I will not feed human food with too grease stuff in it. Maybe just plain white meat… but overall he had a good healthy life I just wished he could live a couple of years longer. He was in peace no pain with lots of love but I miss him and 💔 . The price we pay for loving our pets too much I guess. In fact love anything too much we will end up with pain when love is gone… it: always ying and yang in our universe…
