Ethiopia: Interview with H.E. Teshome Toga Chanaka, Ambassador of Ethiopia

Have ever wished that you had just one more month to do something? Well, in Ethiopia, there are actually not twelve but thirteen months in their year. Not surprisingly, the country also has its own time with one o'clock starting at sunrise.
Being only one of the two African countries that had never been colonized definitely helped preserve many of its cultural and historical characteristics and gave it the backbone to be home of the African Union, headquarters of the UN Economic Commission for Africa.
Ethiopians do pride themseves to be the first African nation to win an Olympic gold medal, but the world will certainly thank Ethiopia for having discovered coffee.
