Shining Time Station 30th Anniversary Tribute

Here is the first of three videos this week, and the surprise video the 30th Anniversary of Shining Time Station! Set's favorite show as a kid!

As a kid Set watched Shining Time Station every day on PBS. What was Shining Time Station? It was the Show that Brought Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends to America! It aired in 1989, staring Didi Conn as Stacy Jones, Brian O'Connor as Horace Schemer. In Season 1 it also Stared Ringo Starr who played a two foot tall man by the name of Mr. Conductor. He also continued his role or re narrating the episodes from the First Two Seasons for American audiences as things had to be changed. In 1990 he would leave and be replaced by George Carlin the second Mr. Conductor. There was also Various children, and There was Henry Cupper played by Leonard Jackson who would be replaced in Season two by Tom Jackson who played Billy Twofeathers. The show would air from 1989-1993 when it would stop. There was a few specials in 1995 and then there would be a spin off called Mr. Conductors Thomas Tales.

The show also stared The 844! It also had other locomotives in the show as well such as the 611, 1218, 2101 and the Grand Canyon Railway 18 just to name a few.
