Block Stacking Problem (or Book Stacking Problem) - How many Blocks can be stacked on top of each other on the edge of a table to create maximum overhang distance from the edge?
It's a very interesting problem in statics in which we try to balance increasing Blocks/books on the edge of a table or surface. Here I consider all the blocks to have same mass, length and uniform mass density. The principle in such a problem is simple - The system that needs to be balanced must have its Centre of mass On or Inside the edge.
